Man found guilty of a shooting in Wayne County

WAYNE CO., GA (WTOC) -

On Wednesday, a Wayne County jury found James Edwin Anderson Sr. guilty of shooting and killing Ron Burch back in June of 2011.

Authorities say Anderson shot Burch outside of his home on Nine Run Rd. Anderson is Ron Burch's girlfriend's father-in-law.

Investigators say Anderson left the house and drove to Jesup and surrendered at the Wayne County Jail. The judge will sentence Anderson Thursday morning.
