SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Many folks took a stroll down memory lane during the St. Vincent's Academy ninth annual Tour of Homes on Saturday.
It included a walk through the original 1845 St. Vincent's convent building as well as eight private homes in Savannah's Historic District.
The annual fundraiser helps St. Vincent's keep the school building, which is more than 160 years old, in the best condition possible.
"This is, in a sense, an easy event to put on because of the cooperation of so many alumnae, parents and friends," said Sister Jude Walsh.
After the tour, visitors enjoyed "tea time" at St. Vincent's academy. The event raises between $25,000 and $35,000 a year.
