Vietnam veterans to host Veterans Day program

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A Veterans' Day program is scheduled for Nov. 9.

Music by the Third Infantry Division starts at 6:30 p.m. The program begins at 7 p.m. It will take place at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Bay Street.

Attendees include local veterans, patriots, active duty military to honor all those who serve the U.S. - past and present.

A man who repairs water towers collapsed more than 100 feet in the air above Cobbtown. Fire and rescue crews had to climb to the top of the tower and lower him to safety.
