SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - Some folks tested their skills in a city wide scavenger hunt Saturday. Contestants were given a list of items to find in a given amount of time.
All the money raised from the hunt will go to the Lollipop Fund, which benefits Memorial's Children's Hospital. Their goal: to someday not have to send children out of state for treatment.
Volunteer Susie Macmillan said, "we do a function once or twice a year to benefit this fund and to raise money to be used at the hospital."
"Everyone's welcome at this event, but it's primarily will be motorcycle riders," said volunteer Jill Ward.
"The motorcycle riders in this community give their hearts to the children, and the veterans, and the pets and the animals."
The team that won the scavenger hunt got a pair of tickets for Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia.
