The Dorchester County Coroner's Office says there were no signs of foul play in the deaths of two people who were found in a home in Summerville.
Coroner Chris Nisbet said an autopsy done on 31-year-old Eric Scott Yates and 31-year-old Kristina Marie Smith did not reveal the cause of death, but indicated that there were no signs of foul play.
Toxicology tests are expected to be done on both.
The Summerville Police Department says the bodies were found in a home on Lenwood Drive in Summerville just after 5 p.m. Wednesday. After investigating, police also located a generator in the home as well.
Police tape surrounded 113 Lenwood Drive as investigators searched the area.
"It appears that there was no power in the residence and there was a generator inside the residence," says Summerville Captain Jon Rogers.
Nisbet also said he thought the generator was moved inside the home after neighbors complained.
Lenwood Drive is located between Old Trolley and Gahagan roads.
