Craig's List armed robbery suspect arrested by US Marshals

A Savannah man wanted by Port Wentworth police on armed robbery charges was arrested Thursday morning by U.S. Marshals.

Cleveland Dijon Flowers, 18, was wanted in connection with an armed robbery on Aug. 5.

Police say Flowers robbed a man who was selling a computer on Craigslist. Police say when Flowers and his accomplice showed up at the victim's house, they pulled out a gun and stole the computer and a cell phone.

Port Wentworth police then got the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force involved in the investigation. After a two-month investigation, Flowers was tracked to the Clover Village Apartments on White Bluff Road in Savannah.

U.S. Marshals went to the apartment early Thursday morning and found Flowers in the apartment.

He was arrested without incident and taken to the Chatham County jail. He's awaiting a court appearance in Port Wentworth.
