Man killed in Jasper Co. wreck identified

JASPER CO., SC (WTOC) -

A Ridgeland man was killed in a wreck Thursday night on Mitchellville Road.

The Jasper County deputy coroner confirmed that Kendrick Webb from Ridgeland, 29, was killed Thursday night in a wreck on Mitchellville Road.

South Carolina Highway Patrol said that a truck driven by Joseph Medlock ran off the road overcorrected, hit a ditch, hit a tree and caught on fire.

Medlock had three passengers in the truck. One passenger died in the crash - everyone else was taken to area hospitals.

Webb was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two different helicopters flew two victims out to hospitals. The other victim was taken by ambulance to a hospital.
