Deputies: Teen stabbed during fight at Coastal Carolina Fair

Charleston County deputies are investigating a stabbing that occurred at the Coastal Carolina Fair at the Exchange Park in Ladson Saturday night.

According to an incident report, a fight between two people started around 11:45 p.m. near the Crazy Mouse ride and grew to approximately fifteen people.

Authorities say an 18-year-old male was stabbed twice, once in his upper thigh and once in his abdomen. The victim was taken to MUSC with non-life threatening injuries.

The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is investigating this crime.

On Friday, parents lined the Pine Barren Road, trying to retrieve their kids. The middle school students were relocated to West Chatham Elementary School after a suspicious package was found at West Chatham Middle School.
