SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) - No pictures here - these are all paintings created by a self taught watercolor artist named Brad Hook. He is often referred to as "the painter of trees" for his love of nature.
Originally from Michigan, Hook now calls Savannah home and he says the surroundings here in our area have had an influence on many of his paintings. He says there is nothing more rewarding than creating a piece of art that brings joy to someone else.
"It's a very good experience because I've been waiting all my life for this. I've always dreamed about being in the gallery. It's a very humbling experience also; it just gives me the greatest joy in the world."
The art will remain on display at the Jewish Educational Alliance of Savannah through the end of November.
