SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Leopold's Ice Cream is offering a half-price banana split to customers who show their proof that they voted.
The Leopold's Ice Cream strongly supports every American voter and wants to encourage everyone to make an effort to vote on Election Day.
Proof can include the Georgia peach sticker given out at the polls, completed card that is available at the polls upon request and the absentee ballot envelope.
"Today,
we are real excited. It is election day. So, we want everybody to go out and
vote. And if they do and have proof, then we will give them a banana split at
half price," said Stratton Leopold, owner.
Leopold's offer stands on Election Day from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The shop is located at 212 E. Broughton St.
