Metro Police detectives are asking for the public's help in finding two women
who are accused of stealing money from a 64-year-old woman and setting up unauthorized
drafts from her bank account.
Erica
Luten, 32, and Natarshia Davis-Johnson, 33, are sought on theft charges. Police
said Luten took money from the victim who was visiting a doctor's office where
she worked. Police said Davis-Johnson and Luten are friends.
The
victim left her purse with the nurse and discovered that after leaving the
doctor's office that an envelope containing $1,426 in cash was missing.
Police
said Luten and Davis-Johnson set up online drafts from the woman's bank account.
Luten
is described as 5'5", 130 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Davis-Johnson is 5'4", 180 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on the case or the location of either of
the suspects is asked to call Crimestoppers at (912) 234-2020 or text CRIMES
(274637). In the body type, include "CStop2020" plus the tip. Tipsters remain
anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
