There will be some new faces on the Hilton Head Island Town Council including Marc Grant. Grant runs his family business on the Island and will now represent Ward I after beating out long-time incumbent Bill Ferguson.
Grant says there is a lot of work that needs to be done and he's ready to serve.
"We want to make sure by two or three years that we have water and sewer completed throughout the entire island, especially Ward I," said Grant. "It's something that should have been accomplished a long time ago however it's a goal, it's a need. I'm expecting to meet that need."
Grant says communication is also a top priority. He plans on holding quarterly meetings as well as keeping his constituents informed of the council's goals and initiatives.
