Beaufort to enforce texting and driving ban starting Saturday

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Texting and driving is dangerous and come Saturday, it will be banned in the city of Beaufort.

Beaufort outlawed texting and driving two months ago but the enforcement will start on Nov. 10. They wanted to wait to spread the word about the ban.

Folks under the age of 18 will not be able to use their phone at all when they are driving.
