Bluffton Fire Dept. preps for Boston butts fund-raiser

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

Good barbeque for a good cause. Bluffton Fire Department's cooking team is preparing for their Boston butts fundraiser.

It's an annual event that always draws a big crowd. Proceeds will benefit Bluffton Self Help as well as Leo Vannoni, 7, a Bluffton Elementary School student recently diagnosed with Leukemia. His mother Kelly works as a teacher at McCracken Middle School.

The 8th annual Boston butts fundraiser will take place from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Katie O'Donalds in Bluffton.
