Rally aims to help solve cold case

Wesley Franklin was killed in July.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Family and friends of a slain Thunderbolt firefighter are planning to gather Saturday morning.

They're holding a Justice for Wesley Rally at 8 a.m. the Garden City Fire Dept. Wesley Franklin was fatally shot in Sandfly in June. The family is hoping that someone who has details about the crime will step forward.

They plan to circulate fliers all over the area, asking any information that can help catch Franklin's killer.
