Police: man posed as SCAD crew to steal gear

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A man has been charged with larceny in connection with the theft of rented equipment.

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police said Sean Jackson was at a shoot at the Savannah Civic Center this week with Savannah College of Art and Design students and professors.

They assumed he was a student. When they started packing up the gear, about $3,000 of rented equipment ended up missing.
