BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -
The Bluffton Fins swim club held a swim-a-thon on Saturday at the Bluffton Community Pool.
The Fins wanted to raise $11,000 to purchase touch pads to record accurate times for their swimmers.
Coach Eric Kemeny is also trying to raise money to possibly get a new pool built in Bluffton sometime during the next couple of years.
Team members swam for two hours, recording as many laps as possible during the swim-a-thon in order to generate donations from family, friends and local businesses.
