Hilton Head Oyster Festival continues through weekend

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

The Island Recreation Association continued their Hilton Head Oyster Festival Saturday at the Shelter Cover Community Park.

The three day event includes live music, a kid's zone with moon bounces, carnival games, prizes and much more.

Football fans can catch both college football and NFL action while at the park thanks to Custom Audio Video.

Captain Woody's Bar and Grill is cooking up oysters and local shrimp, and there will also be fried, grilled and stewed oysters, along with other local favorite dishes.

Admission is $5 per person with children under 12 getting in for free. All proceeds go to the Island recreation Association's Children's scholarship fund.
