EMANUEL CO., GA (WTOC) -

Emanuel County Sheriff J. Tyson Stephens said the sheriff's office and the US Marshal Fugitive Task Force is still working to find inmates who escaped from the Emanuel County Jail on Saturday night.

Six inmates escaped, but three of them have been caught - John Stephen Powell, 27; Eric Lashawn Barney, 32; and 27 year old Dante Jamial Latimore.

The search continues for Matthew Shepherd Findley, 24; Jeffery Rashawn Webb, 26; and 33-year-old Cecil Dewitt Nelson.

Findley is described as a white male who is 5'7" and weighs 140 lbs. Webb is described as a black male who is 6'3" and weighs 195 lbs. and Nelson is described as a black male who is  5'11" and weighs 245 lbs.

There is still no word on how they escaped.

Anyone who spots these inmates should not approach them and call the Emanuel County Sheriff's Office at 478.237.7526.
