Veterans Day was Sunday, but ceremonies and observance continue Monday to honor U.S. military servicemen and women.
The Veterans Day parade in Beaufort took place Monday morning. WTOC's Cyreia Sandlin and Jamie Dailey joined the fun.
In Tattnall County, students, faculty and staff at Tattnall County High School remembered, honor and said thanks to veterans who served the U.S. in both times of war and peace. WTOC's Dal Cannady was there and will have more details later on THE News.
At 2 p.m. Monday, the East Liberty County American Legion is hosting a parade to honor men and women who have served in uniform.
This year, the parade is in downtown Hinesville. It started and ends at Bradwell Institute.
In Jasper County, the Sun City Veterans Association observance takes place at 2 p.m. and includes support from the Fort Stewart Medical Activities Command.
