SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

It's an emotional point in someone's life.

"It's like I am not a fully formed adult anymore," one woman told WTOC.  

But there comes a time when you have to take the keys away.

"Some people fight it tooth and nail and the other people realize they're having a lot of problems," said a spokesman with the AARP.

Wednesday at 5 and 6 p.m., WTOC's Dawn Baker gives you steps to take to help ease your family member into handing over the keys.
