ST. HELENA ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -
The
Beaufort County Sheriff's Office are investigating a man being shot at a St. Helena Island home Monday night and have yet to determine a
motive.
Deputies
were called just after 8 p.m. Monday to a home on Sea Island Parkway. A 22-year-old
man with several gunshot wounds was lying outside the home.
The
man wasn't cooperative and refused to give deputies his name or any details about
his injuries, according to the sheriff's office.
Witnesses
told deputies they heard several gunshots and saw the victim running, but
couldn't provide a description of the suspect.
The
victim was taken to Beaufort Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening
injuries. His condition remains undisclosed.
