BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -
A man who had been sitting in his truck Friday night was shot when he got out to confront
two armed suspects.
It
happened before midnight at 84 Broad River Blvd. A 53-year-old man had been
sitting in his truck and two black males wearing white masks over their faces
went up to his truck. One suspect had a handgun and the other had a long gun
and they ordered to remove his clothing, he refused and was shot in the torso,
according to the sheriff's office.
The
victim ran away and called a relative to pick him up and take him to Beaufort
Memorial Hospital. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries. His condition has
not been disclosed.
