Bluffton man charged with sexual exploitation of minor

BLUFFTON, SC (WTOC) -

A 63-year-old Bluffton man was charged Friday with sharing child pornography online, according to the Bluffton Police Dept.

Dennis Keith Bennet faces three charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and has been released on his own recognizance.

A detective with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office who is part of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force located.

Bennet was discovered during an investigation of peer-to-peer file-sharing of child pornography, according to the Island Packet. His home was searched and he was arrested Friday.
