3 arrested in 'buy bust' drug sting

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Two women and a man were arrested in connection with a drug operation Tuesday night by the Effingham County Sheriff's Office Drug Suppression Team.

The buy-bust sting took place in the Foxbow Farms community located off U.S 80.

Jessica Caylor, 29, of Pooler, and Joseph Wilson, 36, of Bloomingdale, sold Roxycodon to undercover agents in Effingham County, according to the sheriff's office.

Courtney Johnson, 20, of Bloomingdale, was arrested after she arrived and sold methamphetamine to agents, according to the sheriff's office. She briefly escaped, but was apprehended.

Caylor and Wilson are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to commit a drug-related crime.

Johnson was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and escape.

They were taken to the Effingham County Jail.
