The Savannah Business
Hall of Fame will honor two inductees in a gala on Wednesday night.
Robert H. Demere Jr.
and Donald A. Kole will be inducted to the hall of fame. Dale C. Critz Sr. is
the event chairman.
The event includes
dinner, silent auction and an induction ceremony. It starts at 6 p.m. at the
Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.
Proceeds raised from the Savannah Business Hall of Fame event benefit local
Junior Achievement programs, which focus on financial literacy, promote workforce
development and ethics and teach 21st century skills.
In the 2012-13 academic
year, more than 12,500 students will be served with Junior Achievement in
grades K-12 in the Savannah area by more than 400 civic and business
volunteers, according to a news release.
