Walter Pinckney (Source: Beaufort Police Department)
BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -
The Beaufort Police Department is continuing to search for a missing man. They say Walter Pinckney has health conditions that require medication and when he doesn't get it, he may become a danger to himself.
He is about 5'08" and 150 pounds with gray and black hair. Police say he was last seen walking alone along Boundary St. near the courthouse on Sunday. He was wearing a brown jacket with brown pants, black shoes, and a black knit hat.
"There's nothing right now that would lead us to believe there is foul play but we're just concerned for the medical side and the fact that this is not typical of him to be gone this long," said Beaufort Police Chief Matt Clancy.
Police say Pinckney's cell phone was used Tuesday from a homeless shelter in Charlotte, North Carolina, but authorities have not been able to track him down. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Beaufort police.
