Students prepare Thanksgiving meals for Feed the Hungry.Students in a culinary class at Woodville-Thompkins are helping volunteers prepare Thanksgiving dinner for the working poor and homeless. They started cooking on Nov. 14 and will finish on Nov. 16.
Students are preparing the meals for Feed the Hungry, which will serve four Thanksgiving dinners. Feed the Hungry will be serving dinner in Savannah on November.
"A lot of them have been expressing the idea that they've never been able to do turkey, to actually prep turkey from beginning to end and a lot of them are excited that they will be able to go home and actually cook their thanksgiving turkey this year," said Carl Bosier, a teacher at Woodville-Thompkins.
