Grainger Nissan is giving back as they celebrate the grand opening of their new building. On Thursday, they held a ribbon cutting for their brand new state of the art dealership on Chatham Parkway, just off I-16. The project has been two years in the making. The Grainger family also donated money to Savannah Feed the Hungry for meals.
"The individuals that are being served are the working poor. We are at a time right now when a lot of families just don't have. So, this donation will help us truly be able to supply the dinners that we have for the next four years," said Carl Hilliard, Savannah Feed the Hungry CEO.
Chefs and students are already busy getting the dinners ready. Thanks to the contribution from Grainger, Savannah Feed the Hungry hopes to feed 12,000 people in Savannah, Glennville, Hinesville and Effingham County.
