Cops, firefighters to face off in burger challenge

Police officers and firefighters compete in the 3-pound burger challenge last year.

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The new B&D Burgers on Congress Street will be the site of a classic showdown between Savannah cops, firemen and giant hamburgers.

It's time for the annual B&D Burgers Bring It On Challenge. The first to polish off a 3-pound burger in under 35 minutes will win $1,000 for their favorite charity.

The chew down showdown starts Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the new B&D Burgers on Congress Street in downtown Savannah.
