Boy loses battle with brain tumor

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

A 7-year-old boy has lost his battle with an aggressive brain tumor.

Jaron Young passed away early Friday morning. WTOC reported on Jaron's struggle in May. He had contracted the tumor in December 2010 and underwent several surgeries.

Family and friends will say their final goodbyes on Nov. 24 at the Townsley Chapel Church in Savannah. They have also set up an account to help pay for funeral costs.

Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo. The fund is called the Jaron Dontae Young donation account.
