BURTON, SC (WTOC) -
A man was arrested and a home
on Glaze Drive in Burton was searched as part of a drug investigation by the Beaufort
County Sheriff's Office Drug Investigations Section.
They launched an
investigation after getting tips that drugs were being sold out of a Glaze
Drive home.
Andre Skanes, 34, of Burton,
was charged with possession with Intent to distribute
marijuana; possession with intent to distribute cocaine; possession with intent
to distribute crack cocaine.
An estimated 17
grams of marijuana; 3 grams of crack cocaine; 2 grams of cocaine, three handguns
and ammunition; drug paraphernalia and $822
in cash were seized during a search of the home, according to the sheriff's
office.
