Violent criminals are being let back on the streets.

Police had no choice, until now. Monday on the News at Daybreak WTOC's Lynda Figueredo uncovers how detectives are catching murderers and rapists - before they strike again.

"I'm telling you there's no better evidence than DNA. There's nothing circumstantial about your DNA being left at a place or on a person," an expert said.
