Former Pembroke priest released on bond

PEMBROKE, GA (WTOC) -

In the case of a former Pembroke priest who was taken into custody on a child sex charge.

Robert Poandl also known as "father bob" entered a "not guilty" plea Monday.

Police arrested him Friday in Ohio after a federal grand jury indicted him for transporting a 10-year old boy from Cincinnati to West Virginia to engage in sexual activity with him back in 1991.

A judge released him on bond Monday allowing him to return and attend chapel in Ohio just not when the public is there. The judge also put him on home monitoring and he has to surrender his passport and any internet-enabled devices.
