Women charged with using stolen credit cards

BEAUFORT, SC (WTOC) -

Two women were arrested in Beaufort on charges of using a stolen credit card.

Beaufort police said Mecca Major and Shauvone Wells used credit cards that were stolen in an Aug. 4 burglary at the Baptist Church of Beaufort. They were identified from surveillance photos that were posted on Facebook.

Major and Wells were charged with financial transaction card fraud.

More charges are pending against other suspects in the case.
