AAA an Budweiser are teaming up to help protect motorists during Thanksgiving weekend with the Tow to Go program. The Tow to Go service has been provided for more than 14 years and helps discourage intoxicated drivers from getting behind the wheel and risking the lives and safety of other motorists.
"The busiest time for the Tow to Go program is during the upcoming holiday season when more than 70 percent of the call volume is received," said Gerry Gutowski, Sr. Vice President, Automotive Services, The Auto Club Group, in a press release. "This program is invaluable because it brings attention to the dangers of drinking and driving beyond just giving an intoxicated driver a safe ride home."
Tow to Go services:
· Confidential local ride within a 10-mile radius to a safe location
· Service is provided in Florida, Georgia and Tennessee
· Free and available to both AAA members and non-members
· The AAA tow truck transports both the vehicle and the driver
"The Tow to Go program is a simple and effective way to help prevent drunk driving," said Kathy Casso, vice president of Corporate Social Responsibility for Anheuser-Busch.
