City requests further testing on Ogeechee River

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

There are more questions about King America Finishing and the Ogeechee River pollution problems.

Now the city of Savannah wants Chatham's legislative delegation to lobby state environmental agencies to collect more water samples from the lower Ogeechee.

The city wants to find out if there are any harmful effects from dumping in the river in the past and future.
