SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Savannah College of Art and Design's interior design programs were named number one in the nation for the second consecutive year by DesignIntelligence.

SCAD was the first school ever last year to be tabbed number one in both undergraduate and graduate programs, and is now the first ever to repeat such honors.

In addition to the ranking, SCAD president and co-founder Paula Wallace was named one of the "30 Most Admired Educators" for the university's architecture and industrial design programs.

DesignIntelligence's research ranks undergraduate and graduate programs from the perspective of deans and chairs from academic programs across the nation and leading practitioners with direct experience hiring and supervising recent design graduates.

DesignIntelligence also ranked SCAD's Master of Architecture program 20th in the nation, and the industrial design program sixth.
