City council to hold public budget hearing Monday

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah city officials will be talking money Monday.

A final budget agreement for 2013 is expected next month, but city council will be holding a public budget hearing Monday to discuss it.

The hearing will take place after Council's meeting at 2 p.m. in Council Chambers. One of the items being proposed in the budget is money to hire new police officers in Savannah.
