Brunswick police investigate man's death

BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -

Brunswick police are investigating a man who was found dead Monday morning in an apartment on Altama Avenue.

Officers responded at about 10:35 a.m. Monday to the Mercer Altama Apartments on Altama Avenue. A man was found lying motionless on the floor.

Glynn County Coroner Jimmy Durden pronounced the man dead at 11:05 a.m. The cause of the man's death is not yet known.

The man's name is being withheld pending the notification of the next of kin.
