EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Georgia State Patrol is working to figure out the cause of a single-vehicle wreck in Effingham County.

The crash happened Tuesday night on McCall Road near Ralph Rahn Road. Deputies say one man was taken to Memorial University Medical Center with life threatening injuries.

Officials say the driver was traveling in a white Chevy truck when he somehow lost control and was ejected from his vehicle.

"The truck rolled several times from where the pickup truck was located." said David Ehsanipoor, Effingham County Sheriff's Office.

The 2200 block of McCall Road had to be shut down for some time, but has now reopened.

GSP continues to investigate.
