Guyton man ejected in rollover crash

A pickup truck rolled several times and ejected the driver in the crash on McCall Road.

EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

A Guyton man is in critical condition after a rollover crash in a pickup truck overnight in Effingham County.

Deputies said William Johnson, 45, was driving a pickup truck northbound on McCall Road when he lost control and it rolled over several times near Ralph Rahn Road. He was ejected about 50 to 75 yards into a field from the truck.

Deputies say Johnson was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Memorial University Medical Center. The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate.
