Preliminary reports indicate 63rd St. fire was electrical

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Investigators think they have determined the cause of a fire that destroyed a house on 63rd St. in Savannah late Tuesday night.

They say it appears to have been caused by an electrical problem from wiring in a wall between the bathroom and the kitchen.

Firefighters say what appeared to be a backdraft caused the roof to collapse.

No one was injured in the fire.
