Savannah lawyers Howard Spiva and George Lewis have released a free mobile app that can help people protect themselves during a car accident.
If you or your loved on is in an accident, the app will automatically send a link to the parent, spouse, insurance company or lawyer. The link contains a location from Google maps. The app also can alert paramedics on the scene to any allergies you may have.
Spiva also says the tool can be a great way to defend yourself to prove you're not at fault.
"Law cam will capture witnesses, bystanders, police, skid marks, traffic signs and then it goes into a folder that automatically emails to your insurance company or you're lawyer," Spiva said.
