Man sentenced to 30 years for sex offender registry violation
SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Antonio Duncan, 45, has been found guilty of sex offender registry violation. On Nov. 27, Superior Court Judge James Bass Jr. sentenced Duncan to 30 years, with seven years to be served in prison and the balance served on probation.
Duncan, a registered sex offender, told authorities that he was living with a friend in Savannah but after registering, he began staying over at his girlfriend's house in Hinesville anywhere from one to six nights per week. Duncan never registered the address in Hinesville or advised Liberty County Sheriff's Department that he was in the county.
The investigation was triggered by a random residence verification.
