Preliminary hearing held for Hardeeville double homicide suspect

HARDEEVILLE, SC (WTOC) -

The case against the man accused of a double homicide in Hardeeville is making it's way through the court system.

Bernard Jenkins, 19, went before a judge for a preliminary hearing on Thursday.

Jenkins is accused of murdering Desmond Brown and Octavia Scott, who were found shot on Perrysburg Rd. in May.

A Judge ruled there is sufficient evidence for the arrest and it will now head to Grand Jury for indictment.
