CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -
The
Chatham County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding three
registered sex offenders.
A
warrant has been issued for a sex offender who violated the registration laws.
General Smalls, 53, is a Level I sex offender and was
convicted in 1998 of false imprisonment in Georgia, according to the Chatham
County Sheriff's Office. He last registered as living at the Inner City Night
Shelter at 124 Arnold Street with the sheriff's office on Oct. 23.
The
sheriff's office's Sex Offender Registration and Tracking unit was notified on
Thursday that Smalls was not living at his latest registered address, according
to the sheriff's office.
SORT
is working with the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force
to find Smalls.
Two
other sex offenders are also wanted by the Chatham County Sheriff's Office.
Christopher Aaron Walter, 30, was convicted
in 2002 in Georgia for enticing a child for indecent purposes. He disabled
his electronic ankle monitor on Nov. 13 and remains missing, according to the
sheriff's office. He is homeless and had been living under the Talmadge Bridge
near the Oglethorpe Bus Station.
Kyle Lamont Gadson, 41, was convicted of rape in
1992. He was last seen July 23 at the Chatham County Sheriff's Office when
he came to the SORT Unit for his annual sex offender registration.
