SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
Teachers at Benedictine have been growing moustaches all month long for Movember. As part of Movember, men around the world grow moustaches to raise awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer. Three faculty members grew their staches in support but one is glad that it is time to shave it off.
"Monday morning, no. Tomorrow morning this bad boy is coming off. I get my normal face back," said Brennan Lemieux, biology teacher participating in Movember.
Last year, Benedictine raised over $4,000 for the cause. This year, the school surpassed their goal, raising over $6,000.
