Three injured in motorcycle wreck on Talmadge Bridge

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Three South Carolina motorcyclists were injured after crashing into the back of a truck and each other on the Talmadge Bridge Saturday afternoon.

Dalton Chapman of Beaufort, Jeffery and Kim McClanahan of Hardeeville were transported to Memorial University Medical Center to be treated for broken bones sustained in the wreck.

Chapman's bike hit the rear of a pickup truck driven by Michael Wright of Hardeville, casing Chapman to turn the bike on its side.

Kim McClanahan's motorcycle then collided with Chapman's, ejecting her from her bike and into the path of Jeffery McClanahan's bike.

The southbound lane of the Talmadge Bridge was closed for over two hours, and the Savannah-Chatham Metro Police Department's Major Accident Investigation Team is still investigating the wreck.
