Marne Club rings in the holiday season

HINESVILLE, GA (WTOC) -

It was a rockin' good time this weekend as they rang in the holidays on Fort Stewart.

The Marne Community Club held their Rockin' in the Holidays Silent and Live Wreath and Christmas Tree Auction Saturday. Major General Abrams' wife, Connie Abrams, along with other military spouses with the 3rd ID, came together to raise money for local scholarships and children's needs.

WTOC's Mike Cihla was the guest auctioneer for the event and the Marne Club even presented a check to the American Red Cross for $300.
